Corporate Overview
Oasis Health Care has common ownership with Charles Nechtem Associates, Inc., which was established in 1981 to provide Employee Assistance Programs to corporations and institutions throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Together we have contracts with 85 corporations and institutions providing services to over 845,000 employees and their families.
 
Oasis is the single source health plan administrator for self-funded corporations and Taft-Hartley Welfare Funds. In 1995 we purchased Group Services Administrators, a Third Party Administrator for numerous Taft-Hartley plans, and one of the oldest independent Third Party Administrators in the nation, opening for business in 1955. We currently provide third party administration of group health plans for both corporations and Taft-Hartley Welfare Funds. We changed our name to Oasis Health Care to reflect our expanded vision and role in assisting our client's efforts to maintain a quality health care plan while simultaneously containing costs.
 
Our Staff
Our claims processing center is located at 744 Broad Street, 14th Floor, Newark, NJ 07102. Our team of claim examiners average over 10 years experience. A supervising examiner with over 17 years experience manages the team of examiners and customer service representatives. Our support team and service representatives average over 3 years experience and are carefully trained to provide knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt responses to your plan participants. All Oasis employees are committed to continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
